He had her back, he thought, closing his eyes as he buried his face into her long, dark hair. He inhaled her sweet scent, absorbed wrapping around her, and thanked every deity to whom he'd ever sent a prayer. She was back!
He'd never let her go, he vowed. He'd never take her for granted again, never let her think of leaving him or doubt him ever again. He had his world back, and once more with feeling, he kissed her, held her, caressed her, and vowed, in every way possible, to always be the man she needed and deserved.
